Zombie Love: Why Are We So Obsessed with Things That Want to Eat Our Brains?

Zombie movies have been around for almost 80 years with the release of Victor Halperin’s (White Zombie) released in 1932.

Romero’s Night of the Living Dead released in 1968 was the first zombie film that made much success at the box office.

- Zombies are pictured to symbol how technology took over the human minds

- I liked how Zombies are created to be one of our favorite horror but also symbolize the take over of technology.

- another thing I liked how they pictured if we had a zombie outbreak that technology wouldn't help us.

- How would technology help us if there was a zombie outbreak?

- What i learned this week was that there are different ways of using keyframes for certain effects and using the keyframes to expand the duration of a clip or audio.

- What i would like to learn in the future is bullet time, or a smooth slow-mo for action type films or just for goofing off with different items.

- Something that frustrated me this week would be working on a premiere project and it just closing or the computer running sluggish and i would mess up the keyframe.

- Something that made me happy was working in premiere and beginning to learn the ways of a film maker!

Blog (10/3/13) - Point Of View: How So Many Rooted For 'Breaking Bad's' Walter White

Point Of View: How So Many Rooted For 'Breaking Bad's' Walter White

- The use of  different point of views can simply get a reader or watchers mind wondering whats he thinking or what he is about to do, using simple things like the Doctors mustard stain on his coat made walter even more confused then he already was

- The watchers of breaking bad still have sympathy for walt because of his lung cancer even after the dozens of murders and all the meth he has cooked, the watchers are still on his side rooting for him

- The more emotion an actor puts in his/her face during a scene can have more watchers intrigued by whats going on and have the anxiety to keep watching and fiction everything that is going to happen

- What I like is the way they described Walter's emotion when he's cleaning the students tires, he has the emotion of shame and embarrassment and he really sells it to the watchers

"Depending on how the actor is emoting and his facial expressions, we can begin to make inferences about a person's internal state," Magliano says. What i love about that is how a smile or laugh can put many questions into a watchers mind

- a question i have is "How would action/drama movies be without emotion?"

- This week I learned more things I wouldn't know myself, I learned more ways to resize an image so it stays its true quality and doesn't lose any pixels and get distorted.

- I would like to learn photo manipulation in the future because of the wide variety of things you can create and you can actually but your imagination in the picture and create your own little fantasy world in a picture

- Something that frustrated me would be the image resizing, at first I was confused on where to look and what to do but when I got helped and figured everything out, everything from there was dandy

- Something that made me happy would be the self portrait montage, I was able to express things that I loved and create a sort of dream place for my picture, another thing that made me happy was getting the documentary project and be able to film soon, also the sound project creating a film while only using music is hard but also very exciting
