Blog #2 - How do film-makers manipulate our emotions with music?

How do film-makers manipulate our emotions with music?

 - Films just wouldn't be the same without music because emotions are anticipated by music and it makes those who are watching wondering whats going to happen next?

- Directors are going to use infrasound a lot more in movies, a human can't hear infrasound but it induces anxiety.

- In Paranormal activity they used low frequency sound waves audiences reported high fear levels despite a lack of action onscreen, saying if despite the low action, the music made up for it and giving people the scare they wanted.

- I like how music is used in movies and our everyday life to make moments happier or even scarier

- also another thing I liked is how music can make a terrible film scary just using music or low frequency sound waves

- A question I have is, how would movies be without music or sound?

Blog # 1 - Chipotle Scarecrow Makes Enemies To Win Customers

Chipotle Scarecrow Makes Enemies To Win Customers

   - A lot of people are angered over this short animation film and at first I didn't know why but reading and watching everything I understood a lot more and what they were trying to get out to the world.

- Chipotle wasn't using "The Scarecrow" for advertising or else it would be on TV but yet they made it to explain to people a special message.

- There's a lot of ways to put animation to use, big things like sending a message to the world or even small things just to say happy birthday.

- Something I loved was that they used this animation to tell the world that killing animals or even eating industrial food is going to ruin what we started with by farming and growing our own food.

- Another thing I liked was that the scarecrow was the only one that realized the world around him was ruining itself day by day and he wanted to make a change before he lost the world he loved.

- A question I have is why did people get mad over the article, like they didn't air it on TV or make a profit from it so why are people mad?

Weekly Comments (9/20/13)

Weekly Comments -

- I learned many things through this week, learning how to mask different objects to add a different image behind what you masked, as said you can mask out windows in a building and instead of seeing the background you could add a different image like a view of a beach or a mountain even a cat if you wanted too.

- In the future, I want to learn more about Flash and Illustrator because I like making up mini sketches and being able to see them come alive and move them whatever way you please, I also want to learn a lot more about photoshop so I can put everything I learn into a real job and do what I love to do best.

- Something that frustrated me would be the retouch project because it would get really confusing and right when i think i actually have it there would be another line for me to fix and when it wouldn't work it would just ruin the rest of the picture.

- Something that made me happy this week is the freedom we have to create what we want and configure the pictures the way we like and have the freedom to search tutorials and many sites to make our projects look like perfect, another thing is the projects we get are really fun and I enjoy working on them a lot.

- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvthadmv3E8 This is a really neat tutorial that I love because I really like photo manipulation and that's what i enjoy making a lot in photoshop, just being able to take simple pictures and turning them into amazing things like jungles and ancient cities is just really exciting
